Seven colourways for a school wall, one of them painted
A wall for a Durbeen Foundation school: a girl in round glasses blowing bubbles through a garden of books, rain and leaves, with the reading pouring in as light. Because the design had to survive being mixed as real paint, it was drawn once in line and then tested through seven colourways — hot carnival brights, muted sage and clay, deep indigo night — until one held up at the size of a wall. That one went up in the school.
